Author's note

Capitel Gothick is a free modern Gothic display font with unusually tall, narrow capitals, knife-sharp serifs, and pronounced thick-to-thin contrast. Long verticals and abrupt triangular cuts create an austere profile.

It can turn a title into a severe architectural feature, making it apt for fashion editorials, theater posters, and album covers built around dark photography or stark geometric imagery. On fragrance packaging, the narrow proportions, dramatic stroke changes, and spiked details can extend beyond the name to shape borders and monograms, giving an avant-garde product line a recognizable house style.
