CassidyJane, created by CassidyJane of FontStruct, is a free modular pixel font built from tiny outlined squares. The separated units give each letter an airy, skeletal construction, with simple right-angle forms and deliberate gaps that recall early low-resolution displays.
Digital graphics make good use of its dotted grid structure, especially in game menus and electronic music artwork. It also suits technology event posters.
