Author's note

Castorgate - Distort font by Graham Meade is a free decorative display font with a warped, storybook edge. Its tall, pinched strokes and swollen curves give words a slightly medieval sway, while the uneven rhythm keeps headlines feeling hand-cut instead of polished.

Using Castorgate - Distort works beautifully for fantasy book covers, tavern-style branding, indie game titles, event posters, Halloween flyers, zine mastheads, and craft-beer labels. This free font has enough bite to carry short headlines on its own; pair it with a clean sans like Inter for body copy and let it breathe at larger sizes.
