Author's note
Catalyst by Weknow is a free distorted cartoon display font with broad, lopsided forms and a deliberately unruly silhouette. The letters bulge, pinch, and lean in different directions, with abrupt cuts that make the strokes look roughly carved. Nothing settles into a strict rhythm.
A children's event poster is an especially good match, since the uneven shapes feel active and mischievous. It can also give toy packaging, comedy graphics, and game artwork a rambunctious comic-book edge. Across those uses, the warped lettering turns the title itself into part of the action.
