Author's note
CBE Bold Italic by Peter Wiegel is a free brush script with sharply changing stroke widths and a quick, hand-drawn stance. Its letters lean forward through tall, blade-like uprights and broad curves that taper into pointed ends. The uneven forms look brisk and deliberately raw.
Packaging can use this brisk lettering for hot sauce labels or handmade snack brands, where the pointed strokes can echo flames, cuts, or loose ink illustrations. It is equally convincing on independent music posters and skate merchandise, but its strongest role is a logo that should resemble a hurried marker signature.
