Author's note

Celtic, designed by Computer Support Corporation, is a free calligraphic serif with a pronounced forward slant. Broad, sweeping curves meet very fine hairlines, giving the letters the lively contrast of an italic display face. Sharp wedge-like serifs and clipped stroke endings keep the flowing forms crisp rather than soft.

Book covers are its strongest setting, especially for historical fiction, folklore, or fantasy publishing. The same dramatic curves can lend a theatrical edge to event posters and album artwork, with enough refinement for formal invitations. In branding, its cut details and pen-like movement suit heritage goods, artisan drinks, or cultural venues seeking an old-world product identity.
