CF Christmas Letters from CloutierFontes is a free Christmas display font shaped around letters suspended like tree ornaments. Sturdy, wide capitals have uneven, bristled edges, rounded metal caps, and thin hanging cords repeated throughout the lettering. The rough silhouette resembles closely cut felt or paper.
Packaging is an especially convincing medium for this design, since the hanging motif can turn gift tags, seasonal confectionery boxes, and holiday merchandise into a coordinated scene. It also gives winter event posters and shop graphics a recognizable device, letting the suspended letters function as part of a seasonal brand identity instead of ordinary printed type.
