CF Modern 165 by CloutierFontes is a free retro display font with tall, fine-lined letters and a machine-age silhouette. Broad arcs, sharp peaks, and looping cross strokes turn forms into spare geometric drawings.
A poster is its most convincing setting, especially for fashion shows, exhibitions, or albums with an Art Deco slant. The narrow strokes and dramatic curves suit boutique branding and album artwork, where the lettering can supply a period cue. There, the letters can become a border or emblem, not just type.
