Author's note

CF Pinceau by Cloutier Fontes is a free brush script with broad, forceful strokes and a rough, dry-brush finish. The letters shift in width and angle, with sharp tapered ends, scraped patches, and uneven contours that make the texture feel genuinely hand-painted.

Its raw punk and street-art character is especially suited to concert posters and album artwork, where the lettering can match loud photography and distressed print effects. It also fits action-sports branding and apparel graphics, lending names and slogans the urgency of a quickly painted sign. In editorial illustrations, the torn edges and ink gaps can echo splatters, photocopied textures, or aggressive black-and-white artwork.
