CF Sortilege by CloutierFontes is a free decorative display font shaped by exuberant Victorian ornament and a playful fairground spirit. Each capital twists into an uneven, densely patterned little illustration.
The Victorian-showbill influence makes it a lively fit for theatrical posters and confectionery packaging, where ornate type can become part of the attraction. The mix of curled serifs, dots, stripes, and leaf-like marks lets the lettering act as decorative artwork on merchandise and illustrated book covers rather than as a neutral caption. In editorial design, it is best suited to feature openers for children's publishing focused on magic, spectacle, or eccentric tales.
