Author's note

Charcoal Script from Xerographer Fonts is a free distressed script font. Its connected letters move in a quick, uneven sweep, with long loops and sudden changes in stroke width. Dry, torn edges give the writing a convincingly scuffed surface.

Independent fashion labels can use its raw signature style for branding and packaging. It also suits album covers and gig posters. Across those settings, the abrasive texture links personal handwriting with underground print graphics.
