Author's note

Charons Obol by David Kerkhoff is a free brush script with tall, ragged capitals and a fiercely uneven silhouette. Dry, broken strokes leave sharp splinters and long downward streaks, lending the lettering a scratched, horror-film edge.

The scraped texture can merge directly with distressed photography. That connection suits horror posters, album covers, game title cards, and Halloween event graphics. For a record label or haunted attraction, the lettering can become a recognizable brand mark drawn from raw hand-painted signage.
