Citaro Zij DS by Jeffrey Visser is a free dot-matrix display font with the blunt, rhythmic look of LED route signs and transit boards. The letters are built from evenly spaced circular points, so the whole font feels mechanical but not cold, with a soft gridded texture that keeps short words lively.
It fits naturally in poster titles, event flyers, tech branding, interface headers, and music cover lines where that sign-system mood helps carry the message. As a free font, it also works well for title cards and short labels, because the repeated dotted construction gives even simple words a coded, urban pulse.
