Author's note
Cityburn, by Thibault Dietlin of Alien Foundery, is a free distressed display font with the scorched, ink-heavy energy of hand-stamped street graphics. Its chunky lowercase forms wobble at the edges, with rough speckling and uneven silhouettes that make the lettering feel worn, blunt, and physical.
This free font fits gig posters, zines, apparel branding, and raw editorial layouts with an underground tone. It works especially well for short headlines, cover lines, and title cards, where the dense shapes and ragged texture can carry a composition without added effects.
