Author's note

CM Old Western Shadow by Christopher Means is a free Western shadow display font with split serifs and deep offset forms. Fine hatch marks give the broad letters a woodcut texture. Uneven contours and ornamental notches recall vintage show bills and hand-carved signs.

Rodeo posters are its most convincing setting. Saloon signage, country music merchandise, and heritage branding also suit its theatrical detail, especially for Western-themed venues and event designers.
