Author's note

Coccinella Two, designed by Tibor Lantos of FontStruct, is a free dot-matrix display font built from a dense field of even circles. Letters emerge from gaps and collisions rather than conventional strokes. The repeated grid creates a crisp halftone texture with an optical, puzzle-like quality.

Posters are its strongest setting, with lettering that doubles as a title and surface pattern. The same construction suits electronic music artwork, event graphics, and experimental magazine covers. Halftone photography and circular illustrations can share its dotted texture, folding words into the image.
