Code 2002 by James Kass is a free literary serif font with a Central European, Unicode brief and a distinctly bookish tone. The letters pair classical proportions with a few calligraphic twists - the curling top on the 2, the wedge-like serif endings, and the rounded lowercase forms give it a slightly old-world, cultured feel rather than a neutral text voice.
It suits editorial covers, cultural posters, museum graphics, poetry titles, and program notes where a free font needs some heritage without turning ornate. The mix of stately capitals, soft lowercase rhythm, and that gently decorative numeral style also makes it work well for chapter openers, title cards, and short pull-quote settings.

Description
Code2002 is an experimental Plane 2 Unicode based font. The first 255 code points are as in ISO-8859-001. The balance of the code points are from Plane 2, an "astral plane" of Unicode. Plane 2 is comprised of "CJK Extension B", consisting of approximately 43,000 CJK characters which are not encoded in Plane 0, the Basic Multilingual Plane of Unicode.
