Author's note

Code3X R by Yuji Adachi is a free barcode dingbats font with chunky vertical bars and a rough, hand-cut feel that pushes it away from retail precision and toward graphic texture. The repeated rhythm of thick and thin stripes gives the font a coded, industrial mood, while the accompanying characters carry the same blunt, slightly irregular energy.

That makes it a natural fit for posters, record sleeves, zines, packaging, and title cards that want a scanned-or-stamped edge rather than a clean tech finish. As a free font, it also works well for short cover lines or logo experiments where those bars can act like both lettering and pattern.
