Author's note

Columbus Traces by M. Klein is a free historical illustration dingbat font built from hand-drawn figures, costumes, masks, and ornamental objects. Its black ink shapes combine fine linework with broad solid areas, giving each symbol the look of an old printed vignette. Repeated textile patterns and animated poses create a lively folk-art quality.

A museum, cultural festival, or heritage publisher could use the set for exhibition graphics, event posters, and editorial decoration with a theatrical historical theme. Because the symbols read as miniature scenes, they can become illustrated borders, section markers, or pictorial emblems rather than simple typographic ornaments.
