Comic Book Italic Font

Comic Book Italic by Neale Davidson is a free comic display font with broad right-leaning capitals and the quick movement of marker-drawn lettering. Its strokes swell and taper sharply, with rounded bends set against clipped points and uneven joins. The irregular widths keep the alphabet lively and slightly unruly.

Posters for comics and comedy events are its clearest fit, since the forward slant and crowded silhouettes suggest action before any illustration is added. It also suits game graphics, youth merchandise, and snack packaging, but its strongest role is as a loud title with an improvised inked look.

Comic Book includes the full alphabet, extended punctuation, and the euro character. It is available in bold, italic, and bold-italic versions.
