Commo, designed by Stefanie Koerner of pheist, is a free techno-influenced pixel font with an unusually tall, taut silhouette. Broad vertical strokes meet tight inner gaps, giving the lettering the density of a computer display. Alternating narrow and wide forms create an erratic mechanical cadence.
Designers in retro gaming, electronic music, and digital culture will find it suited to arcade graphics, album covers, and event posters. Its compressed openings and severe right angles can turn a name or title into a convincing piece of hardware branding.
