Author's note

Cony Bold, designed by Serge Shi, is a free techno sans serif with towering proportions and dramatic changes in stroke width. Its tight curves, blunt joins, and compressed shapes produce a severe, engineered silhouette.

Technology and electronic music are natural subjects for its futuristic forms, making it useful for album artwork, event posters, and game graphics. It is especially convincing in poster titles, where the narrow letters turn language into a sharp vertical pattern.
