Author's note

Cony by Serge Shi is a free retro sans serif with towering, extremely narrow proportions. Its strokes shift sharply between hairline-thin and solid verticals, lending the letters an elegant poster-like snap. Rounded joins and clipped geometric turns soften the otherwise severe silhouette.

Its Art Deco flavor points directly to glamorous nightlife. That period reference suits fashion campaigns, nightclub posters, magazine covers, and cocktail packaging, especially when the towering letters echo skyscraper silhouettes or streamlined architectural illustration, turning the words into part of the architecture or signage within an image.
