CoolFatCat by Perry Mason is a free cat-themed dingbat font built around squat, seated cartoon felines. The drawings use crisp outlines, striped bodies, pointed ears, and wonderfully unimpressed faces. Each cat has a compact, recognizable silhouette.
Children's publishing and pet shop branding both suit its mix of humor and clearly drawn animal detail, and it can also enliven party invitations or novelty merchandise.
