Author's note

Copy 10_56 by Craig Kroeger is a free bitmap pixel font with a plain early-screen feel. The letters are built from crisp square steps and open rectangular shapes, giving the font a clipped, low-resolution rhythm that feels matter-of-fact rather than nostalgic for its own sake.

It fits naturally in interface-themed graphics, zines, game-inspired posters, coding event flyers, and compact web banners where that blocky cadence can do the talking. As a free font, it also works well for short headlines, title cards, and simple logos, especially when you want the text to echo old display hardware without turning overly cute.
