Author's note

Cordel Encarnado by Galdino Otten is a free eroded old-school display font with broad slab serifs and a rugged, poster-printed texture. Its tall capitals have uneven edges, blunt corners, and scattered scratches that recall worn wood type without losing their sturdy silhouette.

Western bars, barbecue restaurants, or heritage clothing brands could use its weathered lettering across packaging, signage, and merchandise. It makes a convincing centerpiece for a rough-hewn product identity.
