Author's note

Costura Bold by Simon Wiesmayr is a free cross-stitch display font built from thick, even lines that loop and cross like sewn cord, creating an unmistakable hand-worked textile silhouette and the steady repetition of a traditional sampler. Repeated X-shaped knots define its open, angular capitals.

It is strongest on craft packaging, where the stitched construction can turn a product name into part of the decoration rather than ordinary printed lettering. The same motif suits community sewing event posters, fabric shop branding, and children's craft activity materials, especially for makers and audiences drawn to embroidery, folk craft, and hands-on workshop culture.
