Author's note

Crack Boum by Melle Derieppe Claude is a free comic display font built from chunky, uneven capitals. The letters look cut from rough paper, with crooked edges, blunt corners, and irregular stroke widths that keep the forms lively. Nothing is mechanically tidy.

That handmade impact can shift between children's entertainment and music graphics, making it useful for game titles, album artwork, and event posters built around noise, jokes, or action. It also suits snack packaging and playful merchandise, where the jagged silhouettes can echo torn labels, comic-book sound effects, roughly assembled illustration, and handmade mascots.
