Author's note

Crass font by Squirt Gun (Faizal Reza) is a free eroded display typeface that looks like it’s been dragged across concrete and photocopied one too many times. Thick, inky strokes break into rough gaps and stubby curves, giving every word a raw, stencil-like punch. It feels loud, handmade, and a little unhinged-exactly the kind of letterforms that look better slightly oversized and shoved right to the edge of the page.

Using the Crass font, you can push gig posters, album covers, protest flyers, horror titles, zines, and skate or streetwear graphics into full-on underground mode. The chunky shapes hold up well on grainy textures, risograph-style prints, or stark black-and-white layouts. This free font pairs best with a very clean, narrow sans serif for small supporting text to keep the chaos focused where it counts.
