Crawfish Popsicle, drawn by Steven of the Flaming Lips and fonted by Chank Diesel, is a free hand-drawn display font with a scrappy, inked look. Its uneven strokes shift from wiry lines to dense black forms, and the letters lean and buckle with deliberate roughness.
It can turn a band logo or record cover into raw marker-drawn artwork, and the same unruly construction suits underground music posters and offbeat merchandise. Its natural audience is the alternative music crowd.
