Author's note

Crazy World, designed by Manfred Klein at Piktogram Nonsensia, is a free surrealist pictogram font. Its stark silhouettes combine simplified human figures, oversized eyes, mouths, limbs, and architectural forms. The images are strange, witty, and deliberately abrupt.

In editorial design, these symbols can turn section openers or feature pages into small visual puzzles, and their theatrical absurdity also suits music posters and experimental event graphics. For arts organizations or offbeat entertainment brands, the recurring faces and staged gestures can function as an emblematic image system rather than ordinary lettering.
