Author's note

Crimewave BB, designed by Nate Piekos, is a free eroded display font with broad, blunt, close-set letterforms. Its heavy strokes have uneven edges and softly battered corners, as if the lettering had been stamped with worn printing blocks. The shapes are compact and forceful, with little interior fuss.

A comic publisher, action-game studio, or streetwear label could use it to build a rough, confrontational brand identity. On posters and merchandise, the irregular silhouette can become part of an illustrated impact burst, distressed badge, or gritty urban texture rather than serving as neutral lettering.
