Author's note

CRONOS by Eduardo Chang is a free futuristic display font with an extremely wide, low silhouette. Broad strokes turn through softened corners, and narrow horizontal cutouts give the letters a machine-made finish. The open joins and clipped interior shapes are especially distinctive.

Science-fiction posters are its most convincing setting, followed by electronic music releases and game graphics. The same streamlined construction suits technology branding and magazine cover lines, where it can establish a retro-futurist editorial voice with a clear arcade reference.
