Crossword Belle by JJW van der Ham of JOEBOB graphics is a free rounded handwritten font with a loose, friendly rhythm. The letters lean on broad strokes and soft curves, with bouncy joins and open shapes that give it an easygoing, note-on-paper feel rather than a polished script look.
It fits naturally in packaging, cafe menus, greeting cards, scrapbook titles, and playful branding, where a free font can keep the tone warm and informal. Use it for short headlines, cover lines, or nameplates when you want lettering that feels drawn by hand and a little spontaneous without turning fussy.
