CRU-Kanda-Italic V.2 by Prachid Tinnabutr is a free comic display font with tall, narrow letters, lopsided curves, and a deliberately uneven outline. Wedge-like serifs and sharp joints give the letters a lively, hand-cut silhouette.
An illustrated children's book is its most convincing setting, where the irregular shapes can suggest a cast of eccentric voices, and the same approach suits comedy posters, game titles, and playful food packaging.
