Author's note

Crustype Crust is a free eroded grunge display font with the scraped, crumbly texture of old ink and weathered paper. The letters feel heavy but broken up, with ragged edges and flecks missing throughout, so the whole font reads more like something worn down over time than neatly drawn.

It fits music flyers, zine covers, horror titles, poster headlines, and rough brand marks where that dirty, decayed surface is part of the message. As a free font, it works best in short bursts - title cards, cover lines, and bold wordmarks - because the distressed silhouette does most of the talking.
