Author's note

Crystalline Negative by Arthur Reinders Folmer is a free decorative display font whose letters are fractured into a dense web of sharp, glass-like facets. The uneven internal lines and scattered dark shards give each form the look of cracked crystal or a low-poly surface.

Posters are its strongest medium, especially for electronic music events, game promotions, and science-fiction publishing, where the angular texture can set an edgy technological atmosphere. Its fractured pattern can echo crystal, ice, or polygonal illustrations.

Crystalline is a typeface based on crystal shapes. It is part of ongoing type-and-crystal experiments, with future development focused on programming 2D and 3D shapes.
