CSAR Vestment, credited to BCD/MFA, is a free illuminated caps font with ornate serif forms set into patterned square panels. Diamond latticework, dots, and curling internal details give the letters the look of decorated manuscript initials.
It works well for historical publishing, theatrical posters, book covers, and formal event invitations that call for elaborate lettering. The dense ornament is best used at a generous size, with enough surrounding space to show the patterned backgrounds and unusual letter shapes clearly.
