CSAR, created by BCD/MFA, is a free Russian-inspired display serif with dramatic contrast and elaborate, blade-like curves. Broad rounded forms meet needle-thin joins, and several letters extend into sharp hooks or sweeping ornamental strokes.
Its theatrical silhouette works well for poster titles, music artwork, fashion branding, and packaging with a dark or ceremonial direction.
