Cyrillic Old Face, composed by David Zbiral, is a free medieval Cyrillic display font with the look of liturgical lettering cut for an old printed page. The letters mix sharp wedges, tall narrow strokes, and a few sweeping flourishes, giving the font a solemn, early-book rhythm rather than a neutral modern voice.
It fits poster titles for historical events, book covers on Slavic culture, museum graphics, folk music releases, and chapter openers where a free font needs period character without turning into ornament for ornament's sake. Use it in short headlines, title cards, or drop caps, where those peaked forms and curling details can carry the whole mood in just a few letters.
