Author's note

Daela Book by Martin Wenzel is a free angular display font with the severe, architectural look of simplified blackletter. Tall vertical strokes, sharp corners, and abrupt changes in width give the letters a cut-paper silhouette, with compact forms that feel both medieval and machine-made.

Poster design is its strongest setting, especially for music, theater, or fantasy events seeking lettering with a stark historical edge. The same pointed construction can shape album packaging and game graphics, where the alphabet becomes part of the imagined world rather than neutral text.
