Author's note

Dancing DL by Dekor Labor is a free blackletter font built from very tall, sharply angled strokes. Its narrow letters break into pointed diagonals and open gaps, giving the traditional Gothic structure a distinctly fractured, contemporary edge. The extended verticals make the lettering look severe, upright, and almost architectural.

Those recurring blade-like forms can echo angular illustrations, hard-edged patterns, and medieval imagery in music posters, fashion campaigns, game graphics, and merchandise. It is especially convincing on album covers and tour shirts.
