Author's note

Dark Flame is a free flame-scorched horror display font with letters that look dragged through smoke and heat. Its rough, brushy strokes flicker into hooked tips and melting curves, giving the whole design a restless, singed feel instead of a neat gothic polish.

This free font fits poster titles, metal and punk flyers, Halloween graphics, horror game logos, and zine covers where the lettering can behave like part of the artwork. It also works for short headlines, title cards, and drop-in initials, because the uneven edges and scorched silhouette do most of the mood-setting on their own.
