Author's note

DaRKnesS is a free scary display font built from thin, scratched strokes. Broad loops snap into sharp angles and uneven joins, with stray marks breaking through the shapes. The lettering looks unruly and tense.

It can turn a horror poster into a frantic handwritten warning. That distressed hand also suits album artwork, game graphics, and Halloween event material. For haunted attractions or dark entertainment brands, the jagged writing can become a recognizable signature rather than ordinary labeling.
