Data 70 by qwert of FontStruct is a free pixel display font built from broad, squared strokes, hard right angles, and narrow internal gaps. Deep rectangular cuts break up the letterforms and recall the mechanical structure of a segmented screen. The shapes are stark and rigid.
Its early computer aesthetic makes a convincing fit for arcade game graphics and retro electronic music artwork. The squared construction can also suit technology branding, event posters, and science fiction publishing.
