DBE-Arcturus by Dave Panfili is a free distorted display font with warped, hand-cut letterforms. Broad strokes bend into hooked points and pinched curves, and the uneven proportions give the lettering an otherworldly silhouette.
It can create an alien title treatment for science-fiction posters and game graphics, with forms that seem stretched by motion. The same jagged shapes suit experimental music merchandise. In event branding, the lettering can become part of a creature-like emblem rather than serving as neutral text.
