Author's note
Deadly by Gerry Keane is a free experimental display font with stark, angular lettering and a deliberately uneven outline. Needle-thin lines meet heavier strokes across the alphabet, and sharp triangular forms give the design a tense, improvised look.
It is especially convincing on horror film posters, thriller title cards, and dark music packaging, where its nervous silhouettes can echo scratches, cracks, or rough illustration. In editorial design, the same fractured shapes could turn a magazine cover line into part of the artwork rather than ordinary typography.
