Defatted Milk Bold by Nils von Blanc is a free monoline sans serif with a wiry, hand-drawn rhythm and a distinctly late-modernist feel. The letters look tall and lean, built from even strokes, rounded corners, and clipped joins that make familiar forms feel slightly awkward in a good way - especially in the compact bowls and the stubby cross strokes.
That makes it a natural fit for posters, indie record sleeves, zine covers, cafe branding, and title cards that want a casual graphic voice rather than polished neutrality. As a free font, it works best in short headlines, logos, and packaging callouts, where those narrow, elastic shapes can do the talking.
