Defused Extended Bold font by ViNZ of Reticula.net is a free, aggressively distressed sans serif with wide, blocky shapes chewed away by splatters and cracks. The eroded texture gives the letters a rough, industrial energy that feels perfect for loud visuals where subtlety isn’t the goal.
This free font works especially well for posters, album covers, gaming titles, action or horror movie graphics, extreme sports branding, event flyers, and bold t-shirt designs. Defused Extended Bold looks best at large sizes, where the grunge details stay sharp, and it pairs nicely with a clean, narrow sans serif for supporting text and captions.
