Designs1 by Denise Clendenin of Fontographer is a free ornamental art dingbat font based on symmetrical tile motifs. The symbols resemble carved rosettes and woven ornaments.
Decorative borders are its strongest setting, especially for invitations and event programs with a folk-art theme. Varied floral centers and geometric frames also offer ready-made emblems for packaging and merchandise. Repeated across a page or surface, the symbols form interlocking patterns suited to wrapping paper, textiles, and richly decorated editorial dividers.
